This weekend is the ROT Rally in Austin. My office sits right on highway 183, a main passageway to the hill country. For the past two days, about every 60 seconds I can hear a Harley go by. It’s slowly eating at me. I turned in my ride a few years ago when my oldest daughter was born. I don’t think about it much anymore, but the last couple of days have been a bit painful. Anna and I were both huge Harley fans “back in the day.” Now we wouldn’t think of both riding together on one for fear of “the worst” happening and leaving our little girls behind. In the meantime, I’ll settle for crawling around on the ground with my little crumb-crunchers.

Anna and I went for a Harley ride down to Dripping Springs to visit some friends. The Austin hill country is truly second to none. I couldn't imagine owning a Harley and living in Dallas. It's just so plain there. The hill country views, tree covered hills, lake overlooks, and winding roads are incredible. If the flooding ever stops, we'll have to make the Harley a permanent part of our trips to Dripping. - andy

So, my wife and I bought a Harley in April. We don't get to ride it enough, but can you ever? Anyway, I'm just curious, do you own a motorcycle? If so, why? If not, why not? I'll post more soon about why I bought one and why I think everyone should.
